  Eric Laing
Director


Eric joined the company in 2002, bringing 28 years of oilfield experience ranging from North Sea drilling to international production and completions along with Canadian oil and gas activities. Eric earned an HNC in Science from Robert Gordon’s in Aberdeen prior to starting his career with Otis Engineering. With Otis, Mr. Laing worked in field positions in the North Sea, USA and South East Asia for seven years. After completing international assignments he retuned to Canada to form his own oilfield supply company. That company was amalgamated with Endiem Oil Tools and in turn merged with Site Oil Tools. During his time with Site Oil he held the position of Domestic Sales Manager and International Sales Manager. After leaving Site Oil Tools, Mr. Laing was a founding member of Secure Oil Tools. Eric held the position of Domestic and International Sales Manager until the sale of the Secure Oil Tools division to Schlumberger. Mr. Laing then spent 18 months at Schlumberger as Global Business Development Manager to transition the Secure product line into the Schlumberger organization. Mr. Laing joined Stellarton, now Raise Production (formerly the optimization division of VaporTech Energy Services Inc.) in 2002. Mr. Laing is now President and CEO of Raise Production Inc.

   
 

Ken Zinger
Director


Mr. Ken Zinger is the Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Energy Services & Technology Corporation, a TSX and OTCQX listed company. Mr. Zinger was the President and one of the principals of Impact Fluid Systems Inc. since its incorporation in 2001. Impact was one of the two private drilling fluids businesses acquired by the Partnership in March, 2006. Prior to joining Impact, Mr. Zinger worked as a Technical Sales Representative for Newpark Canada for three years. Mr. Zinger worked in the field in various drilling related capacities for nine years before joining Protec Mud Services as a Drilling Fluids Technician. After spending four years as a Drilling Fluids Technician, Mr. Zinger became a Sales Representative for Newpark Canada. Mr. Zinger has over 25 years of experience in the Canadian oilfield services industry.

   
 

Sherry Austin, Ph.D
Director


Dr. Sherry Austin is an experienced executive with extensive and diverse board governance experience spanning the national and local levels for over twenty years. Her consulting company specializes in governance issues, strategic planning, policy development, corporate communications, and executive coaching.

 

Rod Graham
Director

 

Mr. Rod Graham is an Independent Businessman. He is presently a director of Horizon North Logistics Inc. and the Churchill Corporation, both TSX listed companies. In addition, he serves as a director on a number of private energy services companies.

Mr. Graham is a Chartered Financial Analyst, has a degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration, and has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors ("ICD") accreditation program.

 

 

Dell Chapman
Director


Mr. Dell Chapman is an Independent Businessman who is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst with more than 30 years of oil and gas production and service company experience. Most recently, Dell has been Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Equal Energy Ltd. from September 2010 to July 2013. Prior to joining Equal Energy, Dell had been the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Berens Energy Ltd., a TSX-listed company, from its inception in 2003 until its sale in 2010. Before Berens, Mr. Chapman was Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer with Technicoil Corporation, and before that he was in the same role with Stellarton Energy Corporation. Previously, Mr. Chapman had also been a Manager of Finance at Suncor, and, from 1986 until 1995, was in various increasing senior financial roles with Gulf Canada Resources. Mr. Chapman graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1985 and his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1990.

 

 

Marvin D. Clifton
Director


Mr. Marvin Clifton is an Independent Businessman and has over 40 years experience in the oil and gas services industry. This includes Senior Executive and Management roles in public and private oil and gas service companies in Canada. Mr. Clifton was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Technicoil on February 1, 2008. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer at Technicoil, Mr. Clifton served as the Corporation's President and Chief Operating Officer since December 2002. Mr. Clifton has been responsible for providing overall leadership and general management for the company. Prior to joining Technicoil, Mr. Clifton was Senior Vice President, Operations of Precision Well Servicing and President of Cactus Drilling.
